Traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Classes and Workshops
Classes are one day events and Workshops are 2-4 day events
Reiki I - for Children
Fee: $80.00
Pre-registration required. Fee: $40
Length: 4-5 hours over 1 day
Age: 5-12 years oldReiki empowers children in caring for themselves and others. Children love Reiki and embrace it immediately. Children with Reiki are more confident they can handle a stomach ache or a banged knee, learning easily about helping themselves and others.
Children’s Reiki Level I is a four hour workshop. The workshop is designed to be interesting and fun for children. One parent or adult family member is to be present. During workshop, children will learn the following:
- an introduction to Reiki, it’s history and founder
- the human energy field through exercises and body mapping
- Level I attunement
- energy sensing
- hands-on practice using Reiki on themselves, food, plants, and pets
- guided imagery and meditation
- presentation of certificates
The Basics: Level I is “hands-on Reiki on,” focuses primarily on the physical body (physical healing energy). Level I also places emphasis on how to give a Reiki treatment to a person, and some basic guidelines in its use with animals.

Length: 5-8 hours over 1 dayDescription: This class is for people who want to learn practical ways to heal themselves, family members, friends, and animals in their lives. Class will focus on giving Reiki to yourself and classmates.
Class objectives: Class will include time for practice and feedback. Through lecture, discussion, observation and practice, students will learn and perform the following:
- introduction to Reiki
- the history of Reiki
- reiki principles
- basic anatomy
- the human aura
- the chakra system
- review of Japanese Reiki techniques
- reiki I hand positons
- reiki level I attunement
- energy sensing
- reiki treatment for self, people, & animals
- receive a Certificate of Completion
Reiki II
Advanced Techniques: Level II increases your energy channeling abilities as well as teaching you how to send energy over distance and time to heal beings or situations, how to clear heavy energy and create safe, sacred healing space, etc.

Pre-requisite: Reiki Level I
Length: 5-6 hours over 1 dayDescription: This class is for people who have completed Level I Reiki and are ready to continue moving forward on their personal healing path with Reiki. This class focuses on the more advanced meditative and esoteric uses of Reiki.
Class Objectives: Class will include time for practice and feedback. Through lecture, discussion, observation and practice, students will learn and perform the following:
- review of the human aura
- learn and memorize the Reiki II symbols
- learn the basic applications of the Reiki II symbols
- review of Japanese Reiki techniques
- aura level & energy sensing
- reiki level II attunement
- learn how to use Reiki II for self, people, & animals
- learn to use Reiki II on past, present, and future situations
- learn how to use healing objects and photographs for distant sessions
- reiki ethical codes of conduct
- receive a Certificate of Completion
Master Level: Level III is for people desiring to continue their healing journey with Reiki and to strengthen their healing abilities by advancing energetically.
Although called Reiki Master, this means we are in the process of “mastering ourselves” and this course brings us to the beginning of that process.

Pre-requisite: Reiki Level I and II
Length: 5-8 hours over 1 dayDescription: This class is for people who have completed Level II Reiki and are interested in strengthening their healing abilities. This class focuses on the more advanced meditative and esoteric uses of Reiki.
Class Objectives: Class will include time for practice and feedback. Through lecture, discussion, observation and practice, students will learn and perform the following:
- review of Reiki II symbols
- memorize Reiki III Master symbol
- learn the use of the Master symbol
- review of Japanese Reiki techniques
- master attunement
- healing attunement techniques
- deep aura cleansing technique
- handling “unusual” healing occurences
developing a Reiki Grid- receive a Master certificate
Master Teacher Level: Level III Master Teacher is for people who want to teach, attune, and empower others.
Fee: $300.00
Pre-registration required. Fee: $150
Pre-requisite: Reiki Levels I, II, and III
Length: 5-8 hours over 1 day
When Should You Advance Between Levels?:
Traditionally there is a three-month wait before being attuned to Reiki Level II and One-Year before being attuned to the Reiki III Master Level. However, some people are ready sooner than others. The student will know intuitively when they are ready to advance to the next level.
Requirements For Reiki Course Participation:
Students who have received Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki attunements from other Reiki Master Teacher’s must present a copy of their certificate of completion.
Reiki Classes are offered in the New York Metropolitan Area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut including: Rockland, Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, Ulster, Nassau, Suffolk, Passaic, Bergen, Fairfield, New Haven, and Litchfield Counties.
